Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 September 2026
This has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It was written to describe honestly how the software works and what we do with your information, which makes it accurate about the product. That is not the same as being legally sufficient. It must be reviewed by an attorney before eSellBridge takes its first paying customer.
Who we are
eSellBridge is operated by Kam Trading and Tech LLC, Virginia, United States. For anything in this policy, write to legal@esellbridge.com.
What we collect, and why
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Your name and email address | To create your account and contact you about the service. |
| A hashed password and a two-factor secret | To sign you in. Passwords are stored as Argon2 hashes and cannot be turned back into your password. |
| Your product details and photographs | To create and maintain your listings. |
| Marketplace access tokens | To list on your behalf. Stored encrypted, never shown on any screen and never written to any log. |
| Order records, including buyer delivery details | To fulfil orders and to keep the accounting records a business must keep. |
| A record of actions taken in the application | So we can answer "who changed this, and when". |
| Payment details | Handled by our payment processor. We do not store card numbers. |
Photographs and automated processing
Photographs of your items are sent to an artificial intelligence service so that details can be read from them. Only the item photographs are sent. Your name, your email, your buyers' details and your financial information are not.
We do not use your photographs or listings to train anyone's models.
Buyers' information
When something sells, the marketplace passes on what is needed to send the item. That information is used to fulfil the order and to keep the required records, and for nothing else. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared beyond the carrier who delivers the parcel.
If an eBay buyer closes their eBay account, eBay notifies the system automatically and the link between that person and their orders is removed. The order is kept because it is a business and tax record, but it no longer identifies anyone. This happens without anyone having to remember to do it.
Who else sees your information
- The marketplaces you connect, for the listing and order data they need.
- Our hosting, database and storage providers.
- The artificial intelligence service that reads item photographs, as described above.
- Our payment processor, for billing.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Products and photographs are kept while you have an account and, if you close it, for a short period in case you come back. Order and financial records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Staff accounts are removed when you remove them.
Your choices
- Export your data to CSV at any time from inside the application.
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and its contents, except where we must keep records.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. Write to us and we will honour them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Marketplace credentials are encrypted at rest. Each customer's data is isolated by the database itself rather than by application code, so a query cannot return another customer's rows even if it asks for them. Accounts that can change money-affecting settings require two-factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will tell you.
Cookies
The application sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. This marketing site sets no cookies at all.
Children
eSellBridge is for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will tell you by email or in the application before the change takes effect.
